Volcanoes Safaris host 'The Great Apes of Uganda and Rwanda' Expedition by National Geographic
Volcanoes Safaris were delighted to host the ‘The Great Apes of Uganda and Rwanda’ expedition by National Geographic our award-winning lodges: Kyambura Gorge Lodge and Bwindi Lodge in Uganda and Virunga Lodge in Rwanda.
The itinerary included trekking the ‘Lost Chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge’ and the iconic mountain gorillas in both Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda with a primatologist, meeting with conservationists at the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and learn about the work of Dian Fossey in Volcanoes National Park.
