Praveen Moman, CEO of Volcanoes Safaris, with team members during an eco-tourism tree-planting event at the Kyambura Gorge Buffer, part of the VSPT’s conservation efforts. For over 25 years, Praveen and the Volcanoes team have developed unique safari experiences and award-winning community-led conservation initiatives to support gorillas and chimpanzees in Uganda and Rwanda. This talk will reflect on the delicate balance between wildlife protection, local livelihoods, and responsible tourism offering insights into a remarkable conservation story.

Praveen’s unique journey from growing up in Uganda to working as a political and policy adviser in the UK and European Union and ultimately founding one of Africa’s leading ecotourism ventures makes this a talk not to be missed.
