Meet Jane Nyirangano, the chairwoman of the Mount Gahinga Batwa Community

As one of the village elders in the Batwa community, Jane has worked closely with Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust to improve the literacy rates, ensure community members have access to healthcare, and increase the community’s agricultural output. This week, Jane and the community harvested over 1000kg of potatoes which were planted last November. Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust supports the Gahinga Batwa Village under Jane’s leadership and look forward to continuing our support for the Community. Learn more here.
